Use this FireWire (IEEE 1394) cable to connect a FireWire device to your PC. Provides a male 4-pin FireWire connector at one end and a male 6-pin FireWire connector at the other. Designed to connect DV camcorders and other devices to the FireWire port on a PC or Mac.
It is similar to USB but about 20 times faster. It provides a single plug-and-socket connection on which up to 63 devices can be attached with data transfer speeds up to 400 MB/sec.
